Instructor Profile: Penny Korethoski of Progressive Education and Training Services, Nelson, BC


Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid Instructor Penny Korethoski has been an Animal Technologist since 1999. She moved to the Kootenays in 2003 and currently works at the Nelson Animal Hospital part time. In the summer of 2007, Penny expanded her knowledge of animals by becoming an accredited Dog Trainer and opened her business called P.E.T.S. (Progressive Education and Training Services).

In 2009 Penny traveled to Vancouver to become a Pet First Aid Instructor with Walks ‘N’ Wags. Penny currently teaches in various cities with B.C. and A.B. including the Kooteneys, Okanagan, Vancouver Island, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, and more. Penny is also willing to discuss traveling to your location for a group organizing a custom course – just ask her! Penny’s dedication to helping pets and educating their owners makes training an exciting challenge!
